Shaker Library Offers Intergenerational Series with Sheela Das
Intergenerational Creativity: Seniors and students will create puppets, write a play, and perform

Join a fun group of seniors (ages 55+) and children (3d grade and up) to work with teaching artist Sheela Das to create puppets, write a play, and perform for an audience. This is an 8-session workshop on Thursday afternoons from 4-5:30 pm beginning March 30 through May 18.
Intergenerational programming is a mutually beneficial learning experience for seniors and students. Through spending time and participating in activities together, the benefits for students and seniors can be a higher sense of purpose and self-esteem.
Sheela Das is a professional musical artist, performer, producer, songwriter, and teaching artist. In 2019, she joined the prestigious Ohio Arts Council roster of teaching artists in the music and multidisciplinary categories.
