$23,000 Watch Stolen From Solon Home

Solon detectives are investigating the burglary of a $23,000 watch stolen from a home on Flanders Drive sometime in the last two weeks.

The 47-year-old homeowner said he believes the Franck Muller watch, which he bought for $15,000 but which appraised for more than $23,000, vanished sometime since he moved to his new home on Jan. 26.

He noticed the watch was missing and reported it missing on Feb. 9. Nothing else is missing from the home, according to the police report.

The man told police he recently moved to the home on Flanders Drive from another location in Solon and has had a number of workers in his home in the last couple of weeks.

Police are investigating.
