Here's where (times-gazette.com) — Solon is set to gain 30 new full-time jobs as Ohio Lumex expands locally, bringing about $2.8 million in new annual payroll backed by a state Job Creation Tax Credit. The project is part of a broader statewide package DeWine announced, totaling 17 developments and more than 2,300 new jobs across Ohio.

• Boys basketball scoreboard and top performers from Dec. 19 (cleveland.com subscription) — Solon’s boys basketball team fell 75-51 to undefeated Brecksville-Broadview Heights in Suburban League play Friday night, dropping the Comets to 4-3. The game was part of a busy slate of Northeast Ohio matchups, with several ranked teams posting dominant wins and standout individual scoring performances.
