Canadian Man Hits Pole to Miss Geese, 'Flies' From Scene
The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Solon police found an abandoned Ford Mustang in the roadway around 6:27 a.m. on July 20.
The car had heavy front-end damage after it apparently struck a utility pole near the 6000 block of Enterprise Parkway.
Officers contacted the driver, a 36-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, who said he lost control while trying to avoid geese. He didn't know what to do so he went back to his hotel room.
He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a first-degree misdemeanor and held on bond because he was from another country.
