Chagrin Cinemas Reopens
New health and safety protocols have been implemented at the movie theater.
CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — Chagrin Cinemas will reopen Thursday.
“Like most Americans, I’m excited to get back to the movies,” says Jon Forman, president of Cleveland Cinemas. “The magic of the movies is something that brings us together in the most trying of times. While the current crisis is on-going we know that going to the movies is an important part of our culture and we have taken steps to make our cinemas as safe as we can for our patrons and staff.”
Chagrin Cinemas will open with a special $5 screening of "Major League" on Thursday. Showings start at 6:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this special showing are on sale now at clevelandcinemas.com and fandango.com.

New films will be screened at Chagrin Cinemas starting Friday. More information on each film can be found on the Cleveland Cinemas website.

- Social distancing markers in the lobby to ensure proper spacing
- Touchless purchase options at the box office and concession stand
- Customers should buy tickets online in advance to reduce contact points
- Staff will have their temperatures taken before clocking in
- Staff will be required to wear masks while working
- Staff will be required to wash their hand frequently
- Staff will frequently disinfect surface areas
- Plexiglass dividers have been installed at registers
- Patrons must wear masks while in the building, unless they are eating or drinking
- Seating capacity has been cut in half in all auditorium, some rows and seats will be closed to ensure social distancing
- Showtimes will be spaced further apart to reduce crowds and allow for more cleaning time
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building
