Roxbury Elementary School to reopen Jan. 8 following asbestos testing (clevelandjewishnews.com) — Roxbury Elementary students will finally return to their Solon Boulevard building on Jan. 8, 2026, after asbestos cleanup and safety testing cleared the school for use. Since September, classes have been held at Parkside Church and the Regano Early Learning Center while crews abated asbestos, rebuilt affected areas, and installed new lighting, ceilings, and flooring to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Police arrest Post Office employee: Chagrin Falls police blotter (cleveland.com) — Police recently arrested a 35-year-old Kent man after a menacing incident between two employees at the Chagrin Falls Post Office and transported him to the Solon jail, where he later posted bond. In a separate case, officers determined that a woman’s concerns about possible telecommunications harassment did not pose a real threat and closed the investigation.
