Drunken Driver Arrested After Threatening To Shoot Another Motorist

A 47-year-old Solon man was arrested after another driver said he threatened to shoot him while driving in Solon.
On March 18 at about 9 p.m., a man called Solon police to say that while he was waiting at a traffic light at the Harper and Bainbridge roads intersection another diver threatened to shoot him.
Police found the other driver and pulled him over. He appeared intoxicated, so was arrested and taken to Solon Jail.

The man submitted to a breath test and registered a .207 blood-alcohol level, over the legal limit of .08.
Police found a bottle of liquor and two knives in the car as well.

The man now faces charges of menacing, drunken driving, carrying concealed weapons and driving with an open container.
