Earth Fare Opens Today In Solon

Earth Fare is open in Solon.

The new grocery option focused on natural products opened this morning at 8 a.m. at the Solon Square Shopping Center on Aurora Road.

Earth Fare's philosophy is to prohibit items with high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils (trans-fats), as well as artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors or fragrances. Earth Fare’s also doesn't sell meats and dairy containing antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones.

The Solon Earth Fare location will offer fresh local and organic fruits and vegetables, full service antibiotic- and hormone- free meat, poultry and seafood departments, a cheese department, an on-site bakery and body and supplement department. The store will also make healthy eating convenient and affordable with its ready-to-go meal options from the grill, hot bar and prepared food case.

“At Earth Fare, we read the label so you don’t have to," said Jack Murphy, Earth Fare’s Chief Executive Officer. "We are passionate about providing communities like Solon products without high fructose corn syrup, added trans-fats and artificial colors and preservatives."

Earth Fare was founded in Asheville, N.C., in 1975 and has stores in the Southeast and the Midwest. There is also an Earth Fare in Westlake.
