The Comets are 4-5 on the year, and travel to Strongsville tonight for the final matchup of the season. The Mustangs have a 2-7 record.

1. Game Time: 7 p.m. Friday. The game will be played at Pat Catan Stadium in Strongsville.
2. Matchup History: The Comets are 12-11 against the Mustangs and defeated them 38-14 last season.

3. End Strong: Solon Coach Jim McQuaide said the Comets want to end on a high not and expect Strongsville to play well. "Each one of us is looking to finish out in a positive way,” said Solon Coach Jim McQuaide. “These games with Strongsville have been great battles over the years and we expect Friday to be the same."
4. Last games: Solon has won the last game of the regular season in seven of the last nine years.
5. Cheer for the Comet Seniors: Tonight is the last game for the football seniors, so head out to Strongsville and give them a good sendoff.
