Giant Eagle Market District Job Fair Saturday

Giant Eagle Market District will host a job fair Saturday at the Solon Community to fill as many as 450 jobs at the new store in Solon.

The high-end grocery store is under construction at Solon Village at the corner of SOM Center and Aurora roads. The store is slated to open later this year.

The job fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the community center. Positions are for both full and part-time positions for all shifts. No appointments are necessary.

Positions being filled include:

Pharmacy Techs, Graphic Artists, Catering, Delivery Drivers, Beauty Expert, House Ware Sales, Floral Sales, Bulk and Specialty Food Sales, Children’s Learning and Activity Center, Wine Stewards, Maintenance, Meat Cutters, Bakers, Cake Decorators, Chefs, Food Ambassadors, and more.

The store will join a new lineup of grocery options for Solon residents, including the new Earth Fare that opened earlier this week in Solon Square.
