Identity Theft Leads Solon Man To Lose Thousands

A Solon man was a victim of extensive identity fraud that resulted in more than $4,000 being stolen from his bank account, according to Solon Police.

The 33-year-old resident told police he was checking his PNC bank statements and realized he was missing $4,360, according to the police report.

According to officials at the bank, someone went into a branch in Philadelphia and showed an Ohio driver's license and two credit cards with the Solon man's name and identity on them.
