Part Of Solon Road Closed For Construction

SOLON, OH — Part of Solon Road will be closed part of Monday due to road work, the city announced.

Crews will be working on water main repairs between Hawthorn Parkway and Richmond Road, a Solon Police Departments spokesperson told Patch. It's not yet clear when that stretch of Solon Road will reopen, but police hope the street will be passable to traffic by the end of the work day.

Drivers should use an alternate route until construction is complete.

Workers will be paving the road on Monday, police said, but crews from Cleveland Water may also be involved in the project.
