The Mobile Pantry is a program offered by the CleveCland Foodbank and is supported locally by the Rotary Club of Solon, working together with the Solon Senior Center, the Church of the Resurrection and the Solon Area Interfaith League. Due to changes in the Cleveland Foodbank’s mobile program, canned foods and other items have also been collected in the Solon Schools through the efforts of the Solon PTA. Items for the February distribution have been collected from Solon Middle School and Orchard Elementary School. According to Jim Hyde, Service Projects director for the Rotary Club of Solon, “We’ll have plenty of food and are looking forward to breaking our record of 104 mouths fed.”
