Solon Patch To Square Off In Celebrity Chili Cook-Off

Solon Patch Editor Chris Mazzolini will be a contestant in the Third Annual Solon Celebrity Chili Cook-Off at Solon United Methodist Church. Come out on Sept. 29 and tell him if his chili is any good -- and support some good charities!

The 3rd Annual Solon Celebrity Chili Cook-Off will take place on Sept. 29 at Solon United Methodist Church.

The event pits local Solon "celebrities" in a battle over who can cook the best chili. More importantly, the event is designed to raise money for local charities that do good works in the area.

And guess what? You're friendly Solon Patch Local Editor Chris Mazzolini -- that's me -- will be taking part in the cookoff. I've been busy perfecting my chili recipe.

I'll be representing Hands, Hearts & Homes Outreach, a charity that I wrote about last year and which also received some national press in a column by Ariana Huffington.

For a list of all the contestants and the charities involved, check out the PDF attached to the article.

If you want to buy tickets, I can hook you up. Just send me an e-mail at chrism@patch.com or give me a call at 440-289-4381. You can also buy tickets at the church.
