
Kevin S. Adelstein, director of sales and co-manager of Cleveland.com, will be the Cleveland Jewish News publisher/CEO as of June.
He replaces editor and publisher Michael E. Bennett who announced he was stepping down in August.
“The Cleveland Jewish News has been a very important part of the fabric of our entire community for nearly 50 years,” Adelstein, 45, said in a prepared statement. “I am honored and privileged to have been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Cleveland Jewish Publication Co. boldly into the future."
He is a 22-year veteran of media sales and management and will be the chief professional officer of the Cleveland Jewish Publication Co., publisher of the Cleveland Jewish News.
“I look forward to enhancing our core values, celebrating Cleveland’s vibrant Jewish community, and growing and prospering together while taking full advantage of new technologies and trends in communicating and growing business," the Solon resident added. "I’m anxious and excited to join the hard-working and talented CJN staff as well as the outstanding group of committed and passionate CJPC board of directors."
Adelstein graduated from Brush High School in Lyndhurst and The Ohio State University. He lives in Solon with his wife, Daryn, and their two children.
The Cleveland Jewish News was founded in 1964.
