Solon Runner At Boston Marathon: 'Everyone Is Fine'
Solon resident Frank Duchossois and other local runners with the Southeast Running Club had finished the Boston Marathon before the explosions.
Frank Duchossois was in the shower when the bombs went off.
Duchossois, a Solon resident, told Solon Patch from Boston that he and other 17 members of the Southeast Running Club who participated in the race Monday are all ok.
"Everyone is fine, we all finished ahead of that incident," he said. "I was already back at the hotel taking a shower. There was definitely something happening. I felt the thumping even in the shower."

He said that some of the club members were down in the family meet-up zone, which is about a block or so away, but they were far enough away to escape unscathed.
Duchossois said this was his sixth time running the marathon and that he and all the other club members have no qualms about coming back next year.
