Train Engine Horn Stolen In Solon

It's not the great train robbery, but it's close.
Someone climbed onto a train engine parked in Solon and stole the horn, according to Solon Police.
Wheeling & Lake Erie Railways Company called Solon Police on Feb. 18 to report that the horn from one of their railroad engines had been stolen while the engine was parked on tracks near Carter Street, according to a police report.

The company said the theft occured sometime overnight Feb. 17.
The horn is valued at $3,000.
