Where to Take a First Date in Solon

Summer love is in the air and if you have a first date coming up, we've got 5 suggestions to where you might take him or her:

1. Starbucks. Going out for coffee may be old-fashioned, but it's a great place to have fun, relaxed conversation and of course a great cup of coffee. Plus if they order the most expensive thing on the menu, you have an immediate red flag.

2. Panera. If you want to go the food route, Panera has great food and drinks and it's a comfortable place perfect for conversation. It's also packed and makes for a public scene if you're going out with a creep.

3. Mitchell's Ice Cream. It's local and they have great ice cream. Yes, it's expensive but you take a date here and they'll think you're loaded, even if you're not.

4. Shinano Sushi Bar. You might want to get fancy and sushi is a good way to let someone know you're modern, yet classy.

5. Zoup. Maybe a better choice in the winter, but unless your date has narcolepsy, you can't go wrong with a good bowl of soup. May we suggest the lobster bisque?
