Will Record Fall Heat Stick Around In Solon? Forecast
Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s this week. Will things ever cool off?
SOLON, OH — Northeast Ohio could break a record for fall heat this week.
Temperatures are expected to climb into the low- to mid-80s on Monday, giving the region a chance to break a heat record. In 1928, Greater Cleveland saw temperatures rise to 86 degrees on Oct. 11, a record, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will likely peak slightly lower than 86 degrees on Monday.
Will these unseasonably warm, humid conditions persist in Solon this week? The answer is complicated.

Temperatures are unlikely to break into the 80s again this week, but they're unlikely to dip into traditional fall territory. Instead, expect high in the mid-70s and overnight lows in the 60s. Rain is also likely later this week, meaning it's likely to be muggy much of the work week.
