5 Police Calls about People Sleeping in Weird Places This Week

1. Man sleeping in the rocks on Pearl Road, 12:30 p.m. Aug. 31 — Police found it was a resident at one of Strongsville's motels, just resting while he waited for the bus.

2. Man sleeping in his car at Walmart, 3:45 a.m. Sept. 1 — It was an employee on his break.

3. Man lying on hill behind Rosewood Grill, 3:45 p.m. Aug. 31 — It was an employee of the restaurant on break. He inadvertently fell asleep.

4. Young child sleeping alone in car in Walmart lot, 2 p.m. Sept. 1 — Police went down every aisle looking for the Toyota, but couldn't find it.

5. Man lying down at Marathon on Royalton Road, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 31 — He missed the bus to the homeless shelter downtown that he's been staying at. Police gave him a ride to the rapid station.
