  1. Bed Bath & Beyond has added three more Greater Cleveland area stores to its list of upcoming closures. Brooklyn, Fairlawn, and Mentor locations will join the Strongsville location in shuttering their doors this year. The 2023 list has now grown to include 290 locations. (News5Cleveland)
  2. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor reports that 11 individuals were indicted on various charges that include promoting prostitution and money laundering at four Northeast Ohio spas. The indictments resulted from an investigation conducted by the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. The Strongsville Police Department assisted in the investigation and participated in a search warrant executed at Strongsville's New Hi Spa. Click the link for the complete list of indictments.   3. Cuyahoga County property taxes were due yesterday. The original deadline was Jan. 26, but it was moved by the Cuyahoga County Treasury Department. The collected taxes will fund local schools, cities, villages, libraries, and vital public services. Individuals who are unable to make the whole payment are being asked to make an appointment with the Treasury Department to discuss options. (Cleveland 19)
