City Will Recycle Christmas Trees, Weather Permitting

If it snows, however, crews will be redirected to plowing.

The city will again recycle Christmas trees, weather permitting. Leave them at the curb, with ALL decorations, lights and tinsel removed. Don't place them in bags. They'll be taken to a composting site.

If it snows, however, crews will be redirected to plowing.

Also, if you have broken Christmas lights you'd like to recycle, you can bring them to the computer drop-off location at the Service Center, 16099 Foltz Parkway, on weekdays. We'll take them to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, which recycles them for a Lights for Lions conservation program to protect lions and cheetahs.
