Coaches Charged After Fighting During Youth Basketball Game

Two basketball coaches -- one from Strongsville -- were issued minor misdemeanor citations for disorderly conduct after they get into a fight during a youth basketball game in Twinsburg, according to a Twinsburg police report.
The fight occured during a youth basketball tournament on Jan. 26 at the Edge Sports Performance Academy on Ravenna Road.

A witness called 911 at about 1:46 p.m. to report the fight, which began after the coaches started arguing about the game.
One of the coaches told police that the other man threw him to the ground. Police officers say there was blood on the right hand and nose of one of the coaches.

The fight was broken up by other coaches, according to the report.
Both men were ordered to appear at the Stow Municipal Court on Feb. 1.
