- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has designated Cuyahoga County as yellow for the community spread of COVID-19. The county was previously designated as red. Residents that are at risk for severe COVID-19 are encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider about masks and precautions. The designation map was updated on Thursday. - Solar United Neighbors has partnered with Cuyahoga County to offer another solar co-op option. The co-op will work like previous versions, but a portion of collected funds will go toward putting solar arrays on homes belonging to low-to-moderate-income residents. The solar co-op will be using its group buying power to obtain discounts on solar panels and installation services. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- A retired Cuyahoga County judge has been inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame. Judge Michael Jackson has been recognized for establishing the Cuyahoga County Veterans Treatment Court. According to Judge Jackson, it is all about "service after service". He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating from college in 1966. (Court News Ohio)

- Strongsville's Ehrnfelt Recreation Center has expanded its hours. The new hours will go into effect starting tomorrow, Dec. 4. The center will now be open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Sundays' hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (City of Strongsville)

- The Strongsville Public Library will be offering a Teen Tote Bag Sewing Craft on Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. There is no experience necessary to participate in the craft event. (City of Strongsville)
