Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:

1. The Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man who failed to register as an arson offender after being convicted of aggravated arson in 2009. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sammy Hunter, Jr., is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 216-25-CRIME. (Cleveland 19)
2. Two inmates broke out of a window and escaped a correctional facility in nearby Elyria on Wednesday night. Steven Carpenter and Johnny Brooks Jr. were last seen running southeast from the facility located at 9892 Murray Ridge Road. Carpenter was serving time for burglary, and Brooks Jr. was serving a sentence for drug possession. (cleveland.com)
3. The convenience store chain Sheetz is offering customers with a rewards account a free cup of coffee once a week for all of December starting today, Dec. 9. The holiday coffee promotion is available at all Sheetz locations, including those in Cuyahoga County. (Spectrum News)
