Dive-In Movies Set at Metroparks in Hinckley

Ledge Pool will host events July 19 and Aug. 9

Watch a family movie outdoors -- while keeping cool in a pool -- at Cleveland Metroparks' Dive-In Movies at Ledge Pool & Recreation Area in Hinckley Reservation.

The feature on Friday, July 19 will be Dolphin Tale, the story of an injured dolphin and the boy who befriends her.

On Friday, Aug. 9, the movie will be Bedtime Stories, a comedy about stories that come true.

Doors open at 8 p.m. The movies start about 8:45 p.m., depending on sunset.

Visitors can bring something to sit on and enjoy the movies for free from a spot on the lawn, or watch while relaxing in rented inner tubes in the heated Ledge Pool. 

Single inner tubes are available for $5 and double tubes for $7. Advance registration for inner tube rental is required, with a limit of four inner tube rentals per family. No outside flotation devices are permitted

Refreshments are available for purchase at the Ledge Rock Café concession stand.

Ledge Pool & Recreation Area is at 1151 Ledge Road, between State and Kellogg roads in Hinckley.
