- A group of thieves reportedly stole various items from a Strongsville DSW store. Despite the theft occurring in Strongsville, the Bedford Police Department also shared the crime on its social media channels. Anyone from either community with information about the three suspects is asked to contact the Strongsville Police Department. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The Cuyahoga County Council has advanced a proposal to close a gap in family support services funding. Cleveland's Say Yes scholarship program has a $4.5 million funding gap. The proposal would offer $1 million to partially close that gap. The Cuyahoga County Council will be voting on the proposal after reading it during the next two council sessions. - Cuyahoga County is considering spending $500,000 to restore the county's historic Park Synagogue. The project's funds would come from COVID-19 stimulus funding that the county received during the pandemic. Park Synagogue was designed by Eric Mendelson and finished in the 1950s. Park Synagogue has recently received state funds to remediate lead and asbestos at the site. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
