The National Weather Service has issued various warnings and advisories to ensure that residents are aware of the dangers accompanying high temperatures. - The Ohio Casino Control Commission is officially accepting applications for companies that want to operate a sports-betting operation. Applications are being accepted until Jul. 15 for the first wave of sports-gaming licenses. Cuyahoga County will have the opportunity to receive 5 of the statewide total of 40 licenses.
