• Westlake vs. Strongsville boys basketball: Demons limit turnovers, roll to 63-53 win (morningjournal.com) — Strongsville High’s boys basketball team fell 63-53 to Westlake in the Titans Holiday Hoops tournament at Berea-Midpark, despite a big second-quarter run that briefly gave the Mustangs the lead. Westlake’s senior captains combined for 45 points as Strongsville’s offense struggled against a second-half zone defense, snapping the Demons’ two-game losing streak.
