Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

1. Former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Paul Silas has died at 79 years old. Silas was first to coach LeBron James in the NBA and coached the Cavs from 2003-2005. (Fox8 News)
2. Two employees were placed on unpaid leave after the death of an inmate at the Cuyahoga County Jail in nearby Cleveland. The hospital system is currently conducting an investigation into the death. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
3. New data from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health showed high flu hospitalization rates. The numbers were higher than they have been for the last 12 flu season combined. (News5Cleveland)
