Free Admission To Strongsville Home Games For Some Students
A donation from the Strongsville Athletic Boosters will enable high school and middle school students to attend some home games for free.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Strongsville students will get free admission to home football games, varsity basketball games and OHSAA tournament events this year.
The Strongsville Athletic Boosters made a $7,500 donation to Strongsville High School to cover admission costs for home athletic contests. This is the third straight year the boosters have paid for high school and middle school students to get free admission at certain sporting events.
“The athletes feed off of the support they get from their classmates. We would like nothing more than to have a full student section at every home competition. We encourage every Strongsville student to make an effort to attend at least one athletic event this year and cheer on our Mustangs,” said Keith Housum, president of the Strongsville Athletic Boosters.

Strongsville High School Athletic Director Denny Ziegler called the boosters a "dedicated group" and their recent donation "generous."
“We hope many students in our District take advantage of this free admission and are able to cheer on the efforts of their classmates. I know our coaches and student-athletes appreciate the extra support and attendance from students of all ages,” Ziegler said.
