- Strongsville's Fire Chief Jack Draves has expressed his appreciation for Issue 88's approval. Voters approved of the Strongsville Fire Department's tax renewal during the Nov. 8 General Election. The tax renewal is for a five-year 1.5 mill levy. The tax revenue will be used for firefighter salaries and operations at Fire Station 3. (cleveland.com)
- The Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds will be hosting "Magic of Lights" next week. The holiday event features 2 million lights. The event will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and continue through Sunday, Jan. 1. The event will operate from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each night. Click for ticket information. (WKYC)
- The Ohio Department of Health held a press conference on Tuesday morning to address flu, COVID-19, and RSV concerns. According to the department's director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, the busy respiratory virus season is currently underway. The state has experienced a significant increase in flu hospitalizations.
