- The Strongsville Police Department was dispatched to Dunkin' on Tuesday, Nov. 8. A U-Haul truck was going through the restaurant's drive-thru when it hit the awning. According to the department, the truck damaged the Royalton Road building. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- The proposed Jiffy Lube in Strongsville has hit another delay. The Jiffy Lube would be located along Pearl Road. The city's Planning Commission halted the project to perform a wetlands study of the proposed site and reported that the size of the wetlands might sink the project. More information will be released in January. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office will be reviewing the MetroHealth CEO bonus case for possible criminal charges. MetroHealth's board fired CEO Akram Boutros on Monday night after an internal investigation revealed that he had given himself $1.9 million in bonuses based on self-assessments. The bonuses were not approved by the board. (CleveScene)
