Kindergarten Registration Moved Due to Strike
Parents should sign up their children at Pupil Services office

Anticipating a second week of a teachers’ strike, the Strongsville schools have moved kindergarten registration from the seven elementary schools to the Office of Pupil Services.
Registration will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Pupil Services, 15650 Pearl Rd., in the Support Services complex.

Packets are also available at the office and should be picked up prior to registration. The packets have information about what documents are needed to complete registration.
Kindergarten is mandatory in Ohio. According to state law and district policy, any child who turns 5 on or before Sept. 30, 2013 is eligible for kindergarten this August. Â

The registration schedule remains the same as it appears on the Strongsville City Schools website; only the location changes to the Office of Pupil Services:
Monday, March 11: Kinsner Elementary
Tuesday, March 12: Zellers Elementary
Wednesday, March 13: Drake Elementary
Thursday, March 14: Chapman Elementary
Friday, March 15: Surrarrer Elementary
Monday, March 18: Muraski Elementary
Tuesday, March 19: Whitney Elementary
