An Evening of Hope, Celebration, and Community Impact - August 22 in Strongsville
On Friday, August 22, 2025, community members are invited to join W.A. Smith Financial Group for an unforgettable evening of generosity and hope at the Wish Upon a Star: A Night of Hope and Wishes event, hosted at the Encore Event Center in Strongsville.
This inspiring annual fundraiser helps grant life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses — and is open to the public. Guests will enjoy an uplifting night that includes dinner, open bar, raffle items, a live auction, and a powerful wish reveal shared by local Wish Families.

To date, W.A. Smith Financial Group’s commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission has helped fund more than 100 wishes for children across Ohio — including surpassing the $1 million milestone in total funds raised as of last year. The annual event continues to build on that impact, one heartfelt story at a time.
