March Trivia Madness Postponed

The 18th annual March Trivia Madness set for March 3 has been canceled.

A pending strike by Strongsville teachers has caused organizers to postpone the event, which is a fundraiser for the Strongsville Education Foundation.

"Although this is an important fundraising event for the Foundation, many of the teams and event staff include teachers, administrators and Board of Education members within the district," SEF Trustee Jean Wittrock said in an email. "Given the current circumstances and focus on important matters related to the education of the students in the district, the Foundation Trustees believe it is important for all the energies that would have been put into March Trivia Madness will be directed to resolving the issues."

The event will be held at a later date, she said.
