Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. Seniors in Northeast Ohio, including Cuyahoga County, will soon be able to access help for food, home repairs, and transportation. Four new initiatives are aimed at delivering food to elderly citizens, improving transportation options for medical appointments, and helping to improve and repair homes. (Fox 8 News)
  2. The Strongsville Police Department received another shipment of steering wheel locks for Kia and Hyundai vehicles. The anti-theft devices are available for Strongsville residents and may be picked up at the police department during the week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. Local police are calling the current crime trend in Northeast Ohio a "car theft pandemic" as another luxury dealership in the area was the target of a group of thieves on Saturday morning. Strongsville was one of the areas hit over the last few weeks with the latest dealership to be hit in nearby North Olmsted. Police said that they believe the motive behind the thefts is simply the thrill of the crime. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
