News of the Week: Teachers Strike Week 5; New Business Coming; Foreclosures

Teachers strike -- The ongoing Strongsville teachers' strike enters its fifth week with a rally on the City Commons. The teachers then deliver a proposal seeking binding arbitration. The School Board declines the offer.

Teachers strike, part 2 -- Protests outside school board members' homes expand. The school district and union meet to negotiate on three successive days, but no deal is reached. 

GetGo coming -- Giant Eagle says it will proceed with plans to build a gas station and convenience store after City Council approves a rezoning.

Foreclosures -- Eighteen properties are up for sheriff's sale in April.

Teacher salaries -- The Strongsville Education Association says its salaries aren't out of line with those in other top-rated districts.
