Prospect Road to Close for 2 Weeks

Project will detour traffic starting April 22

Prospect Road will be closed to traffic between Lunn and Royalton roads from Monday, April 22 to Monday, May 6 to finish a culvert installation.

Work continued through the winter on the culvert, but some drainage work and road paving had to wait for warmer weather, officials said.

The road will close about 6 a.m. Monday, Sgt. Mike Grywalsky said.

The project is being done jointly by the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works and the city.

Cost is $806,847.

Up till now, two-way traffic has been maintained except for a few days.
