- The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering reduced adoption fees through the end of this month. The offer is due to a significant increase in incoming dogs. Fees have been lowered to $20 per pet adoption. Every adopted dog comes with spay/neuter services, vaccines, a 2023 dog license, microchipping, and a current rabies tag. (Cleveland 19)
- All of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Conviction Integrity Unit's community members have quit. According to the members, the unit's efforts are just "window dressing." Their resignation letter was sent to Prosecutor Michael O'Malley. The full resignation letter is available to read at the link. (WKSU)
- Cuyahoga County has reported the Memphis Avenue bridge replacement project will not be completed until the end of January. The project's original completion date was in December 2022. The delay has been attributed to manpower and material shortages. The bridge replacement has cost $5.8 million. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
