Strongsville Can't Keep Up with Garfield Heights

The Garfield Heights Bulldogs put the bite on Strongsville in boys basketball action Friday night, beating the Mustangs 82-42.

Sophomore Drew Robertson led the Mustangs with 8 points in the varsity game, followed by John McNelis with 7.

The junior varsity team showed a lot of hustle, but the Bulldogs scored 7 points in the final 40 seconds of the first half to take a 26-19 lead at halftime. 

Garfield Heights went on to win 55-44.

The Bulldogs also handed the freshman team a rare loss, winning 50-44. It was only the third loss of the season for the freshmen.
