Strongsville Gets Recycling Grant

Award will pay for annual Keeping Strongsville Green newsletter

 

Strongsville has received a $5,000 grant that will allow the city to publish its yearly "Keeping Strongsville Green" newsletter.

The city is among the recipients of a 2013 Community Recycling Awareness grant Recycling Container grant from the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District.

The grants total $221,338, and were awarded to 38 communities and 33 schools and non-profit organizations throughout the county, according to Diane Bickett, executive director of the CCSWD.

The newsletters, mailed to every home, contain information about recycling and other earth-friendly issues.
