- Take a moment and vote now for MaxPreps Ohio High School Athlete of the Week Award! There are nine amazing student-athletes who put on an amazing showing the past week and are up to be recognized and nominated to be the Athlete of the Week. - Feb. 20 was a rough day for Strongsville officers as they received a number of calls regarding different incidents around the area. There were two incidents reported on Whitney Road; one was a noise disturbance reported by a neighbor who heard someone yelling at someone and another involved a driver suspected of drug use as well as using illegal tints. Incidents were also reported on Oakland Park Drive, Collier Drive, and Pearl Road. None of these incidents resulted in an arrest, just a few warnings and extra precautions made. (cleveland.com)
