Strongsville police seek suspect who threw object from another car

Strongsville police are looking for witnesses to an incident that took place Wednesday afternoon on I-17 in which someone threw an object at a woman's car, shattering the windshield.
The woman driving the car is currently a substitute teacher in Strongsville.

The sub told police she was northbound on I-71 near the turnpike when a late-model, dark blue "low-rider" type vehicle with tinted windows pulled directly next to her vehicle, then accelerated to about 10 feet in front of her.
The passenger side window then partially opened and an object was thrown out, striking and shattering the woman's windshield.

A news release says the suspect's car had rust on the bottom the passenger door panel.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the suspects or vehicle is asked to call the Strongsville Police at 440-580-3230.
