Thief Finds Big Loot in Cars: Police Blotter
The following information was provided by the Strongsville Police Department

Two cars on Brady Lane were entered the night of July 7, with big-ticket items taken from each.
On resident said two iPads and other miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked Ford.
Another said a laptop, sunglasses and cash were missing.
Suspicious PersonÂ
A Hunt Road resident reported a man came to his door July 9Â and asked if he'd inadvertently received his check.
The man claimed to live next door, but gave an address that does not exist, a report said.
Concert Over
An anonymous caller asked police about 9:30 p.m. July 8 to make a band on Drake Road stop playing.
The caller said the kids had been practicing since 5 p.m.Â
The band said they would stop for the night.
No Photos, Please
A resident on Emerald Edge Place watched as a red Honda pulled up and a young woman got out and took a picture of the house.Â
The incident was reported about 5:45 p.m. July 8.
Bait and Switch
A man who bought stereo equipment from someone in a Pearl Road parking lot told police the product wasn't what he thought it would be.
He reported it to warn others against making the same mistake.
