Wheelchair-Bound Man Leaves Bloody Trail on Sidewalk; Pizza Order Traced to Camp Lejeune: Police Blotter

Several callers alerted police to a man in a wheelchair at Pearl and Royalton roads March 30, dragging his foot and leaving a trail of blood behind him.
Police followed a small blood trail to the Advanced Auto Parts store, but couldn't find the man.

Another caller then spotted him on Royalton Road, where officers met him in the Evangelical Lutheran Church parking lot.
Police called paramedics to check out his foot, but they said it wasn't necessary to take the man to the hospital.Â

The man was having trouble with his wheelchair, the report said.
Long Delivery
An apparent prank pizza order ended with police talking to a Marine recruit training at Camp Lejeune.
A report said Pizza Hut got an Internet order for a Strongsville address, but no one was home. An employee then called the phone number, but the man said he didn't order a pizza.
The employee said the man got irate and kept calling and texting.
When police called the number, the man said he was at Camp Lejeune for training and has now idea how his number was associated with a Strongsville address -- or a pizza.
X-Threat
Police helped settle a dispute between friends over an X Box March 26.
Whitney Road residents called police about 11 p.m. over threatening phone calls from a man who said the tenants in the apartment had his video game system.
He said he would come over and bang on the door until they gave it back, a report said.
Instead, police arranged for the tenants to return the game to the owner in the police station lobby the next day.
Nasty Paint
Someone spray-painted obscenities on a Priem Road garage door the night of March 26, a report said.
Police told the family how to remove the paint.
Hacked
An East Kerry Place resident reported that someone hacked into his Yahoo account and deleted his e-mails.
The man was worried the hacker also got his credit card information from his e-mails.
Police told him to check his credit report and report any frauds.
The man said he was also changing to gmail.
Damaged Property
Someone damaged a mailbox on Hastings Court and threw an egg at the garage.
The damage was done the night of March 26.
