- There's a winter storm headed toward Strongsville, and officials are bracing for extreme weather. Hazardous travel conditions are expected throughout the week, with icy and snow-covered roads. Strongsville crews have been preparing for the storm and will continue to work to keep them safe during and after, but driving conditions will still be dangerous. Drivers are strongly urged to avoid driving whenever possible and to exercise caution when on the road. (WeatherWX)
- Strongsville has received a donation of $162,500 for the town center redesign project. This makes the total amount donated for the redesign around $4.6 million. The project has been dubbed The Strongsville Town Center Enhancement and Walkability Initiative. The estimated total cost for the project is $7 million. (cleveland.com)
- A man has been arrested for shoplifting from SouthPark Center, a location he had reportedly stolen from before. Previously, the suspect had allegedly loaded up an entire cart with items before walking out of the store without paying. The second time, the suspect was apprehended while holding armloads of sports apparel. He has been charged with theft. (cleveland.com)
