• Trotwood cannabis shop files suit over alleged illegal search; city responds (wdtn.com) — A Trotwood cannabis retailer is suing the city and police, claiming an April 2024 search warrant was executed illegally and that seized THC products were never lab-tested as authorities said. The shop seeks $700,000 and a jury trial, while Trotwood officials firmly deny wrongdoing and say the warrant was legal. Best Buds Depot on Salem Avenue remains open during the dispute.
   

• Division II and III Football All-Ohio Teams Announced (neosportsinsiders.com) — Several Trotwood-Madison football players have earned spots on the 2025 Division II All-Ohio teams, showcasing local talent on a statewide stage. Lineman Jamarcus Whyce and defensive back Darius Dennis made first-team defense, while multiple Rams, including Armani Rogers and Jameer Whyce, received second-team and honorable-mention recognition.
