Canton Man Charged With Drug Trafficking, Possession
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

arrested a man who was found with marijuana and criminal tools is accused of drug trafficking and possession.
Adrian Monroe, 28, of Canton, was stopped for a traffic offense on the corner of Darrow and Twinsburg Roads on Aug. 1.
According to the police report, the officer noticed his car during another stop, smelling marijuana as he drove by.

While he first denied having anything illegal, he later handed police a marijuana cigarette and then officers searched a black bag found in the car.
Inside the bag officers found a pocket knife, a digital scale with marijuana residue, five plastic baggies and three Β baggies containing loose marijuana, which was later weighed and totaled at 208 grams.

While searching Monroe police also found a pocket knife and $1,330 cash in a rubber band.
Monroe was charged with drug trafficking and possession of criminal tools, both felonies, and misdemeanor drug abuse and carrying a concealed weapon.
