Fourth of July: Declaration of Independence Reading at the Square
The annual reading of the Declaration of Independence will be July 4 at 1 p.m. at Twinsburg's Public Square.

The Twinsburg Republican Club is hosting its third-annual July 4 at 1 p.m. at Twinsburg Public Square.
Club President Matt Cellura said the group wants to memorialize the roots of the United States and why Independence Day is celebrated.

"A lot gets lost in the Fourth of July holiday and we just want to remember," Cellura said.
He said , club member and former , has been the key person with the project the past few years, helping residents understand why the day so important.

"We'd like to keep the meaning alive," Cellura said.
Hear , a signer of the Declaration of Independence, give his perspective on the time leading up to the signing. Known as the "Father of the American Revolution", a drafter of the "Articles of Confederation" and other monikers, Mr. Adams presents the principles of our nationβs founding.
The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by the Twinsburg Girl Scouts.
The Declaration of Independence will be read by: Twinsburg Township Trustee Jim Balogh, State Senator , State Representative , candidate for common pleas judge Eddie Sipplen and County Council Representatives Bill Roemer and Gloria Rodgers.
All candidates for political office are invited to attend are welcome to hand out literature.
There will be free ice cream so bring your picnic lunch and a chair. Weβll have an old-fashion Fourth of July celebration.
